If you have the passion to experience expeditions and
treks in different mountains and hilly regions of Nepal, you should
definitely give your time to know about following popular expedition
options available across the country.
Manaslu Expedition
is at the height of 8163 meters and it always remained the number one
choice for all individuals willing to experience adventurous mountain
climbs to up to 8,000 meters peak. Gyalzen Norbu and Mr. Toshio
Imanishi, the two Japanese mountain climbers were responsible for
opening the trekking route to this expedition during 1956.
In
addition, Mount Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain peal worldwide
and it belongs to the Mansiri Himal region of Nepalese Himalayas or in
the western plus central part of Nepal. Manaslu implies Mountain of the
Spirit. The name has arrived from Manasa, a Sanskrit word that implies
soul or intellect.
Cho Oyu Mountain peak
located at about 8201 meters and it has recently gained popularity among
large numbers of mountain climbers. Currently, individual trekkers and
mountaineers consider it as the most accessible mountain among the
fourteen different worldwide foot mountains.
Reason
for this is that ascent to summit plateau involves both direct and
short route with limited technical sections of only 6 meters height to
climb easily by the help of fixed lines. Other than this, mountaineers
may go for Cho Oyu Expedition
by driving on four wheelers and experiencing trail to the 1st camp at
about 6,400 meters of height. Here, the complete journey involves steep
walk over talus slopes and in sturdy leather type of trekking boots,
which usually come with proper ankle support.
After
this, majority of people opt to go for Ama Dablam Expedition in Nepal.
This is the third highly populated peak that belongs to the Himalayan
region, for which trekkers have permissions to experience trails and
expedition activities. Until now, the expedition has the most popular
route with its first ascend one across the southwestern ridge.
Mountaineers
in this case experience the climbing activity with three different
camps across the entire ridge with camp number 3 below and towards the
right of Dablam, the hanging glacier to allow calving off the mountain
glacier typically away from the camp. In order to attempt to climb Ama
Dablam, one should require the permission to climb mountains and a
liaison officer. In addition, mountaineers and trekkers should
essentially possess strong base of ice and rock climbing experience for
climbing the mountain.
